FAQ & Policies

The questions restaurant owners ask us most, answered plainly. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

  1. Is RM1,500 really the price?

Yes, for a Starter site of up to 5 pages. After a 15-minute call, Ken sends a fixed quote within 24 hours, before you pay anything.

  2. Do you only work with restaurants?

Yes. Restaurants, cafés, kopitiams and other food businesses, nothing else. So we already know what diners look for: the menu, the hours, the way there and a way to book.

  3. Isn’t my Facebook page enough?

Facebook decides who sees your posts. A website is yours: it holds your menu and prices, shows up on Google and takes bookings or orders while you’re busy in the kitchen.

  4. Can diners book a table on the site?

Yes. Business sites take table booking requests by time slot and send them straight to you. On Starter, a Book button opens WhatsApp so diners can ask you directly. Live table availability is a web app.

  5. Can I update the menu myself?

Business sites include an editor for your menu, prices, photos and hours. On Starter, a care plan covers small edits.

  6. Can my site be in BM, English and 中文?

Yes. Starter sites can have up to three languages: BM, English and 中文. You can talk to us in any of the three, too.

  7. Will it actually bring diners?

No one can promise sales, and we won’t. We make it easy for the people who find you to trust you, see your menu and book in one tap.

  8. Does it really take 14 days?

For websites, yes, counted from when your menu and photos are in. Web apps get their own timeline in the quote.

  9. What do I need to prepare?

Your logo, your menu with prices, a few food photos and your hours. It helps a lot to share your story too: how you started, what makes you different, and any offers you run, like a business lunch set. We go through it together on the call.

  10. Do I own my website and domain?

Yes. Your domain is bought in your name from day one, and the design and code are yours once the site is paid in full.

  11. What does it cost each month?

Only your domain’s yearly renewal, paid straight to the domain company, unless you choose a care plan. Care plans start at RM150 a month and cover hosting, updates, backups and time for edits.

  12. What happens after launch?

You get a handover pack with your logins. For 30 days after launch (60 for web apps) we fix anything that doesn’t work as described. After that, a care plan keeps the site looked after; without one, we move it to hosting in your name at no charge.

  13. What if the developer disappears?

Your domain is in your name from day one, and the site is yours once it’s paid in full. Without a care plan, the site lives on hosting in your own name, with your own logins.

How we work with you, in plain words. Your quote and the Website Project Agreement you sign set out the same terms for your own project.

  1. Your quote

After our 15-minute call you get a fixed quote within 24 hours, with the scope, price and timeline in writing. It stays valid for 2 weeks. Nothing is owed until you agree to it, by signing or replying “I agree” on WhatsApp.

  2. Payment

Websites: a 50% deposit (earnest money and part-payment) to start, and 50% before launch. Web apps: 40% to start, 30% when you approve the prototype, and 30% before launch.

Nothing goes live until it’s paid in full. Third-party costs, like your domain, are paid by you at cost.

  3. What you provide

Your logo, your menu with prices and your photos, plus your brand story: how you started, what makes you different, and any long-running offers, like a business lunch set. You confirm you have the right to use everything you send.

We don’t make logos, write copy from scratch or take food photos.

  4. The 14 days

Websites go live within 14 days, counted from when your deposit and content are in. Please reply within one working day; each day we wait for a reply moves the launch by a day. Web apps follow the timeline in their quote.

  5. Changes

Starter includes 2 rounds of changes, Business 3, and web apps 3 per milestone. An extra round is RM200, and anything outside your quote is quoted in writing before we start it.

  6. If you cancel

Cancel within 48 hours of paying, before design starts, and you get the full deposit back. After that, the deposit covers the work done: cancel during design and you keep the approved page plan and home page design; cancel during the build and nothing more is owed, and you can still buy the unfinished site by paying the balance.

If we miss the 14 days through our own delay, you can cancel and get the full deposit back. Refunds are paid within 14 days. Web app milestones can’t be refunded once delivered and signed off.

  7. If we don’t hear from you

After 30 days without a reply, and two written reminders, the project closes and the deposit is kept. Picking it up again is quoted as a new project.

  8. Ownership

Your domain is bought in your name. The design and code pass to you once the site is paid in full. A few reusable tools we build with stay ours, and you get a permanent licence to use them in your site. We may show your finished site in our portfolio unless you tell us in writing not to.

  9. Bug fixes

For 30 days after launch (60 for web apps) we fix anything that doesn’t work as described, at no charge. This doesn’t cover changes made by others, new features, content updates, or failures of other companies’ services.

  10. Care plans

Basic RM150, Standard RM250 and Pro RM400 a month. Each has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days’ notice to stop. They’re paid monthly in advance, unused hours don’t carry over, and a month already started isn’t refunded. Web apps are on Pro; sites that take payments are on Standard or Pro.

  11. Hosting

With a care plan, we host your site. Without one, you host it: we set up hosting in your own name, move the site there at no charge and hand you the logins.

These terms cover your use of this website. The work we do for you is covered by your quote and the Website Project Agreement you sign.

  1. Who we are

Laju Digital, a business registered in Malaysia (SSM 202603283616 (LA0094551-A)), in Kuala Lumpur. Write to us at laju.digital.studios@gmail.com or on WhatsApp.

  2. Using this site

You’re welcome to browse and share this site. Please don’t copy its designs, words or images for another business, or try to break or misuse it.

  3. Prices and promises

Prices on this site are where projects start. Your price, scope and timeline are fixed only in your written quote. Nothing here promises sales, bookings or search rankings.

  4. Our work and pictures

NA/MI and Squeeeshies are earlier builds of ours; Squeeeshies is a concept build with sample products and prices. Some photos on this site are AI-made mood pictures, and the restaurant websites drawn on our pages are examples, not clients.

  5. Jarvis

Jarvis, the assistant on this site, is an AI. It can get things wrong; what counts is your written quote and what we confirm with you directly.

  6. Links to other sites

Links to WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook and our earlier builds are there to help you. We don’t control those sites.

  7. Liability

We take care to keep this site accurate, but it’s provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it.

  8. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. We may update them; the date beside the title shows when we last did.

How Laju Digital collects and uses your personal data, under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. This notice is given in BM, English and 中文; if they differ, the BM and English versions apply.

  1. Who we are

Laju Digital (SSM 202603283616 (LA0094551-A)), Kuala Lumpur. For anything about your personal data, write to laju.digital.studios@gmail.com.

  2. What we collect

When you message us on WhatsApp or Messenger, or write in through our contact form (which opens WhatsApp): your name, phone number, your business name and what you tell us. When you talk to Jarvis: what you say or type to it. When you become a client: what we need for your project and your invoices.

  3. What this website keeps

This site has no analytics or advertising trackers. It remembers your language on your device, and whether you’ve seen the opening screen during your visit. Our hosting company keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

  4. Why we use it

To reply to you, prepare your quote, build and look after your website, send invoices and keep the records the law requires. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for anything else.

  5. Who else handles it

WhatsApp and Messenger (Meta) carry our messages, ElevenLabs runs Jarvis, Vercel hosts this website, Cloudflare hosts the sites we build, and Google runs our email. Some of them store data outside Malaysia. We use them only to provide our service.

  6. How long we keep it

Enquiries and project files are kept for 2 months after your project ends, or after our last conversation if it doesn’t become a project, and then deleted. Records the law requires us to keep, like invoices, are kept for as long as it requires.

  7. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Write to laju.digital.studios@gmail.com; we reply within 21 days.

  8. Keeping it safe

We keep your data on secured accounts, share it only with the services above, and tell you without delay if a breach is likely to harm you.

  9. Your diners’ data

When we build you a site that collects your diners’ details, such as bookings, you are responsible for that data. We add a privacy notice and https, keep backups and collect only what your site needs.
